The collegiate system is at the heart of the FC International College’s success, giving students and academics the benefits of belonging to both a large, internationally renowned institution and to a smaller, interdisciplinary, academic college community. It enables leading academics and students across subjects and year groups, and from different cultures and countries to come together to share ideas.

All Colleges invest heavily in facilities for extensive library and IT provision, accommodation and welfare support, and sports and social events. The relatively small number of students at each college allows for close and supportive personal attention to be given to the induction, academic development and welfare of individuals. Each college has its own Governing Body, comprising the Head of House and a number of Fellows, most of whom also hold college posts.

Mission

Like all great research colleges, FC International College has a tripartite mission: to educate, research, and promote caring. FC International College aims to carry out each part of its mission at the highest level of excellence, on par with the best institutions in the world. FC International College seeks to attract a diverse group of exceptionally talented men and women from across the nation and around the world and to educate them for leadership in scholarship, the professions, and society.

FC international college is a small, permanent, cross-sectional, membership society based in Kafue, Zambia and founded in 2010 by One Dream Foundation. This residential college (system) combines experienced instructors, cutting edge curriculum, and small class sizes in order to create an ideal and effective learning experience. The goal is to create the social cohesion that is found within a happy home.

Students gain all the necessary skills and are equipped to become world-class professionals. Our college is home to the old and young, the teacher and the student, the poet and the revolutionary, the patriot and the pious plus more. We bring together all aspects of soul and personality in a small, stable, and academically rich setting of a residential college. Week after week, month after month, year after year, all students will learn, grow, and shine as continuously improving citizens of the global village

The campus master plan is designed to partition the large school into small, permanent, faculty-led, cross-sectional communities. The campus architecture is designed to support the standard residential college/house system. Masters, Professors, Instructors, and a Body of Fellows(senior members) live amongst the population of a few hundred students.

Because we understand that education is a fundamental right, FC International College supports low-income students who may not be able to afford college due to life’s circumstances. We realize that a long-lasting network of sustainable relationships with (teachers, students, communities, alumni, donors, supporters, clients, suppliers). Our (Campus Development Committee) is focused on strengthening these relationships in the long term.
